Your decks, finally a joy to study.

Spacecard opens Anki decks (.apkg), schedules your reviews with FSRS, and looks like it was made this decade. Built for medicine, law and language students. Not launched yet — join the waitlist and we’ll email you once.

We store your email, the time you signed up, which button you used, and whether you chose the founder list. We use it only to email you about the launch, and we don’t share it. To be removed, email hello@spacecard.app and we’ll delete it. This page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address.

Why Spacecard

The good parts of spaced repetition, minus the setup.

02

Scheduled with FSRS

FSRS is a modern, open spaced-repetition algorithm that predicts when you’re about to forget a card, so you review less to remember the same amount. At launch

Questions

Honest answers.

Will it work with my existing decks?

The goal is to open standard .apkg files exported from Anki, including their images. Import will support the common formats first; some newer or unusual deck formats may arrive after launch. We’ll list exactly what is supported before we ask for any money.

What happens to my scheduling history?

Spacecard uses FSRS, so it schedules differently from older Anki schedulers. Your cards and content come across. Whether past review history can be reused to set up FSRS is something we’re still working out, and we’ll say so plainly at launch.

Is it iPhone only?

Yes, iPhone first. There’s no Android or desktop version planned for launch.

When does it launch?

We haven’t set a date and won’t invent one. Waitlist members get one email when it’s ready.

How much will it cost?

Planned: £1.99 a month or £14.99 for lifetime, with a free tier that has unlimited reviews and limited AI. Founder lifetime is £9.99. Joining the founder list takes no payment; we’ll email you before we charge anything.

Is the AI going to fill my deck with junk?

AI card creation isn’t built yet. When it ships, it will propose cards and you approve each one. Nothing is added automatically.
